Ingredients
1 bun rice vermicelli
Half onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped Some minced meat
Wet seasoning
1 tsp light soy sauce
1 tsp dark caramel soy sauce
1½ tbsp Shaoxing wine (Chinese Cooking Wine)
½ cup of water
½ tsp sesame oil
Pinch of salt
Pinch of white pepper
Garnish
1 egg, fried omelette
Red cabbage, cleaned and cut into stripes
1 bundle spring onions, chopped
Preparation
Soak noodles for 5-7 minutes in lukewarm water
Cook omelette and set aside. In a pan, add some oil, friend garlic, and onions, cook until golden brown, add in minced meat.
Pour in wine & water, bring to boil.
Add in light and dark soy sauce, salt, white pepper and sesame oil, stir to combine.
Add rice vermicelli and lightly stir a few times, cover lid and let it cook till the noodles are dry. Garnish with vegetable, eggs and spring onions.
